LUGANO CONVENTION

23 OCTOBER 2010

The festivities were crowned by the Evening Event at Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano on Saturday, 23 October 2010, with participants making a live presentation of the 50-year history of Banca del Sempione.

Finance was intertwined with stories of the Alfa myth and changes in customs starting in 1960, the year Banca del Sempione was founded, to the present day.

Photographs, videos, interviews, and even songs from the splendid duette Sarah Jane Morris and Simona Bencini, made the evening a truly innovative show that delighted and even touched almost a thousand guests who experienced the bank's half-century history.

After the concert, the guests enjoyed a dinner symbolizing the times through traditional, international, and original dishes. Four decades, four food stations to taste culinary developments over the past 50 years.
